One Spanish actor has a devoted following among my younger sister’s admirers. Sometimes it’s ridiculous: she’d bid on his hair or the handkerchief he used to wipe his mouth at online auctions.
She started studying hard to get into a Spanish university in the city where she lives and be closer to him. Now that she has graduated, she is almost fluent in Spanish. Then she rented a house near his area and enrolled in this university. I’m excited for my sister, but Mom rolls her eyes.
In fact, she is obsessed with this star, but this pursuit has allowed her to completely change her life.

I saw a doctor about my migraines. For some reason, I had it every three months. And the reactions to light, sounds, and smells were terrible. The pain is indescribable.

Once my brother and I went to the sea and we met girls.
I invited one of them home because I liked her. The house was a complete mess and I lived alone. The girl entered, became concerned, and then left.
The next day someone knocked on the door. When you open the door, she and several other girls are there. “You go to the room, you go to the bathroom, I’ll go to the kitchen,” he says when they enter. Then they start cleaning floors and windows, washing dishes, and picking up trash.

A few years ago there was a raffle for my daughter’s Nativity performance. I was invited to collect the first prize, a large Christmas basket after they pulled my name out of the box. Standing there in front of about 300 people, I pulled a second-prize ticket out of the raffle drawer. And kept calling my name.
