15 Tales of Cheaters Who Think They’re Above the Consequences

When people decide to be together, they usually expect to live happily ever after and don’t think about cheating.

But as we all know, life is full of surprises. It is not easy to survive the betrayal of your significant other, but you can cope with it if you remember that it has happened to almost everyone.

The husband opened up and said that he fell in love with someone else, but he did not want to leave me with the child. “I love you both!” he says. So he called the woman over to talk.

And I said, “What are you waiting for, huh? I loved you and you put up with your cheating for 8 years. And now you’re doing it again? People don’t change. Stay out of my life!” © Wiretapping / VK

We had a family gathering and my uncle and his wife visited us. We were drinking tea and watching TV, and suddenly a detail appeared on the whole screen – my uncle hugging a strange woman who was holding a bouquet of flowers. And then the aunt snapped…

A guy I know had a lover. After a long time, she convinced him to stay together at the resort, saying that they would not have to hide there and just rest. So he went on a “business trip”.

The couple spent a wonderful night together and in the morning came out of the room to meet another wonderful and smiling couple – his neighbor (and his wife’s best friend) and her husband. The result is a phone call to a friend and a divorce. © Alexbuka / Pikabu

When my husband and I started dating, he cheated on me. At that moment I forgave him and forgot about it. We were young and stupid and didn’t commit to each other back then. It’s been 20 years, he suddenly says: “I have to confess something to you, but don’t worry, nothing terrible happened.”

His “no big deal” meant he got into an argument with a colleague at a company event. And you know what he told me at the end? “Why are you reacting like this? We’ve been through this before, you took it as normal then, like a wise woman. Have you lost your wisdom with age?

I didn’t expect this from you!” We no longer live together. © Mamdarinka / VK

My grandmother was a nurse. She once assisted at a birth and the apparent father remarked that the baby looked good for a premature baby. The grandmother said the truth without thinking: “The baby is not premature.” So I guess I know where I get my social oblivion from. © tornado28 / Reddit

When I was a child, I scolded my father. They would send him snowshoeing with me and he would get cold and bored, quickly meet some woman with a child, and take them all to a cafe. I was very happy with this arrangement and always waited for my dad to go out with me.

I don’t know if those acquaintances continued – he rarely went out with me and they were other women. But I really liked one of them. She had a daughter about my age, we played well together and she invited me to visit.

When Dad and I went to the slide again, I asked everyone if Miss Galina and her daughter Olivia would be there today and if we would go visit them after the restaurant. A scandal broke out, I didn’t go anywhere that day and Dad was suspended so he couldn’t go with me. © Tatiana Lobanová / ADME

While we were looking at her phone for places to eat, a flirty message from a guy popped up. He complimented the photo I just took of her…she sent it to him when she was around me. Bold. A friend of mine joked early on in our relationship, “In the 21st century, cheating isn’t the worst thing that can happen in a relationship.” After 3 years, I found out about his lover, who knew nothing about me. I met her and told her everything.

I went to IKEA shortly after my first wedding to buy a dining table. It was me, my then-husband, and a close friend who, unbeknownst to naive young me, was my then-husband’s lover. I watched them walk around like a couple discussing the options before finally settling on the glass-top table that I have mentioned many times is impractical.

(One slip away from shattering!)

While I saw all the other signs that I was being scammed, it was at this point that I realized what was going on. I killed him a few days later. (And he should have broken that stupid table, too.) © CommonFrequency / Reddit

I felt something wrong and checked my husband’s phone for the first time in 18 years and was just ashamed. He’s not crazy like the old crazy. Lots of texting with 20-year-old girls. They were all from the fitness club we go to.

Somehow he found their numbers at the front desk. Then he texted and they just told him to get lost. In this whole story, I’m not even mad about the possible cheating, but that the whole gym is laughing at him and by extension me. © Overheard /

I dumped a girl after she cheated on me.

I found out she was kissing another man.

My ex was devastated, saying she couldn’t live without me, and pestering me with phone calls. She even came to my parents crying.

And then she told me she was pregnant with my child. She sent me a photo of the test with 2 strips. I was shocked, but I knew I would never send her for an abortion. I overcame myself, said that I would forgive everything and we would raise the child together.

Good thing my friend was smarter than me. He called me and said, “Dan, you’re crazy. I found the exact same picture of the test on the Internet.” I wonder what they will come up with next. Would she play the tragedy of losing a child? © Mamdarinka / VK

My ex-boyfriend confessed that he cheated on me when he left for work in other cities on December 30th. And this time he decided not to pay for our rented apartment and move in with another girl. And the lease ended on New Year’s Eve.

I cried, I screamed, but I couldn’t think of anything better than to go back to mom and dad. And I am very grateful to them for their tactful silence after they found me on my doorstep with all my belongings on December 31st. They didn’t even ask about my friend, they understood everything immediately, and so they tried to create an unforgettable New Year for me. © Chamber 6 / VK

I broke my parents. I asked my mom if I could have dinner at my “Aunt Christie’s” again because she cooked my favorite pasta. Turns out mom didn’t know who “Aunt Christie” was – which is because she wasn’t actually my aunt, she was a co-worker my dad slept with. © AussieCanuck94 / Reddit

He told me he was at church. Then I heard a voice ask in the background, “Honey, why are you hiding in the bathroom?” He still had the nerve to deny it. © CalligrapherOk6633
