After giving birth to 10 boys in a row, a 39-year-old mom from the Scottish Highlands has finally welcomed a baby girl into the family. Alexis Brett and her 44-year-old husband David, a train driver, were overjoyed when they found out they were expecting a girl. Alexis expressed her happiness, saying that she was “over the moon” at the arrival of her new bundle of joy named Cameron.
The Brett family now has 11 children, with Cameron being the youngest and only girl among her 10 brothers who range in age from 2 to 17 years old. David stated that his sons have been well-behaved around their new sister, trying their best to keep quiet so as not to wake her up. They also enjoy helping out with holding and feeding her.
Despite having a large family and doing an incredible 49 laundry loads a week, Alexis loves being a mother and wouldn’t have it any other way. She stated that all her boys are special to her, and she would have been happy if her 11th child had been another boy. Alexis also mentioned that they are stopping at 11 children and there will be no more additions to their family.
As a part-time fitness instructor, Alexis is now enjoying the experience of buying pink things for the first time. She loves her family as it is and is content with the size of her brood. Despite the challenges of having such a large family, the Bretts are grateful for each and every one of their children, who make their lives complete.
