The moment I entered the bus, something felt.
Maybe it was a tension in the air, a hurrying way that people mixed to find a seat, or just a strange picht of intuition that ran down my spine. I didn’t know yet, but I was supposed to meet face to face with the angriest stranger – and first, of course, witnessed how karma would never let the debt pay.
I had a decent day until I got to the bus. The stop was busy when people competed for the first chair. I managed to get a place and throw my luggage to save them and at the same time, I helped Mrs. Chen with a suitcase.
“Thank you, dear,” she said, adding my arm. “These old bones are not what they used to be I smiled and returned to my seat, just to find out that there was a jerk sitting, my bag threw itself on the floor.
“Sorry,” I said, trying to keep cool. “That’s my place.”
The man barely looked from his phone. “I don’t care.” The first come, first served. ”
“But my bag was here.” I just helped someone – ”
“Look, Mrs. He gave up and finally met my eyes. “I’m not moving.” Take your bag and find another place. ”
I was frantic, but the disruption would not help. I grabbed the bag and stumbled to the center of the bus and murmured under my breath. When I passed a young woman who was coping with an infant, I sympathetically smiled.
The bus plunged forward, so I grabbed the pole to keep myself stable. At that time I heard it: A clear lament of the newborn appeared to full volume. I couldn’t help myself, but he grinned when I noticed the tense shoulders of the justified Jerka.
He turned and looked at the young mother. “Can’t you close that child?”
The woman looked pompous. “I’m sorry, it’s bite.” I’m doing my best. ”
“Well, your best isn’t good enough,” he said.
I had enough. “Hey, buddy?” I called. “And what about you to mind your own business?” He does what he can. ”
He gave me dirty and then turned. I caught my mother’s eye and said, “You’re doing great.” She gave me a grateful nod.
The older man sitting near me leaned to me. “Don’t let him get to you, dear.” Some people just wake up on the wrong side of the bed. ”
I laughed. “Rather as the bad side of life.”
For the next half an hour, this child served as a small, beautiful instrument of karma. Every time the jerk clogged, the little boy released a piercing lament. But what about a real kicker? He literally started digging.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
The back of the jerk seat was training. I bit my lips to avoid being loud. “For love – can you control your child?” He growled at his mom.
She looked close to tears. “I’m sorry, it’s just restless.” It’s a long way. ”
I couldn’t help myself. “Hey if you let me have your place so you don’t deal with it.”
He ignored me, but I swear I noticed his eyes.
The teen sat opposite me. “A friend throws a seal.”
I smiled. “Serves him right.”
At that moment, several rains landed on the glass. Brack stood up and stretched over the roof over his head. “Great, exactly what we need!” Rain!”
When he pulled to the hatch, there was a loud crack. His face became pale. “Uh-oh.”
He began to pour a constant stream of water on his head. He tried to close the hatch, but it was stuck. Every few seconds, another drip with a quiet “pad” against his head fell. “Do you have any trouble there?” I called sweetly.
He turned around and the water sprayed out of the woolen cap. “Shut up!” That’s your fault somehow, I know it! ”
I raised my hands innocently. “Hey, I’m down here.” Maybe it’s just … karma? ”
The mother and the child who have now settled giggled. The guy gave her an ugly look before he sank into the seat, and launched into the water as if they were flies.
A middle-aged woman murmured nearby: “I never saw anything like that. It’s as if the universe teaches him a lesson. ”
I nodded and tried to keep a direct expression. “Three strikes and you’re out, right?”
As we approached the goal, there was a bad concept. I reached into my wallet and pulled out a taste of cash – mostly, but with a few twenties upstairs to make it look impressive. I put it quietly under the seat closest to where I stood.
“Oh my God,” I said loudly, bending down. “Look what I just found!”
The whole bus fell silent. I lost the money. “Did anyone lose it?” It was under this chair. ”
The head of the jerk jumped so quickly, that I thought he was suffering from whiplash. His eyes were wide and focused on the money in my hand.
“That’s mine!” Screamed and jumped. “I sat there before!” I had to drop it! ”
I picked up my eyebrows. “Really? I doubt it. Can you prove it? Did anyone see the man sitting on this seat?” I shouted loudly, pointing to the place where I planted the money.
To my pleasure, our fellow travelers responded with the “nose” choir.
The man’s face changed an interesting shade of purple. “Give me money, you a thief!” Demanded.
He grew forward and tried to catch cash. But the karma wasn’t over with him yet. His shoe fell on someone’s bag and sent him flying face into the aisle.
There was collective breath and then silence. Slowly the jerk rose and brought his hand. “You’ll pay for it,” he growled at me. “I’ll sue.”
I couldn’t limit my laughter anymore. “Suck me for what?” Find your own money? ”
His jaw fell. “What?”
I shrugged and I tried to look halting, but I was doing a victory.
As we approached the station, I noticed my mother and her child. “That was amazing,” she said. “Thank you for standing up to him.”
I smiled. “American buses must stick together, right?” In addition, your little guy has done most of the job. ”
She laughed and now jumped a sleeping child. “It’s usually such an angel.” I think he just knew that one needed a lesson. ”
The older gentleman who spoke to me earlier laughed. “In all my years of equestrian buses, I have never seen justice like this.” Well, young lady. ”
We all handed the bus, jerking rushed around everyone to get away. When I watched him throw him off, he was still soaked, I couldn’t help, but feel happy.
“Karma is a fun thing,” I thought together. “And sometimes it runs by bus.”
When I left the bus stop, I noticed that the young mother was fighting with her bags and infants. I ran to her.
“Do you need a hand?” I asked.
She looked relieved. “Oh, right?” That would be amazing. ”
As we walked, she introduced herself as Lisa and her young son as Sam.
“I’m Carlo,” I said. “Where are you heading?”
“Just to my sister,” Lisa replied. “It’s a few blocks from here.” I hope I won’t take you out of the way. ”
I waved her fears. “Not at all.” After this bus ride, I could use a nice walk. ”
We spoke when we walked, laughing at the bus events.
The man took the bus to the bus, but the karma had three surprises for him
When a rude stranger put me on a bus, I didn’t expect the karma to hit three times during the journey. When I watched his happiness break up, I wondered if my last step would be too much – or just the lesson he needed.
My day was good until I got on the bus. The stop was crowded and everyone tried to get a place. I managed to catch one and lay the bag down to hold it while helping Mrs. Chen with her suitcase.
“Thank you, dear,” she said, giving my arm a gentle heel. “These old bones are not what they used to be
I smiled at her and turned back, just to find a man in a suit sitting in my seat, the bag fits on the floor.
“Sorry,” I said, trying to stay calm. “That’s my place.”
The man barely looked from his phone. “I don’t care.” The first come first served. ”
“But my bag was here.” I just helped someone – ”
“Look, the lady,” he interrupted, finally locked with me. “I’m not going to bend.” Take your bag and find another place. ”
I was frantic, but causing the scene would not help. I grabbed the bag and moved to the center of the bus and murmured under my breath. As I went through a young woman who was struggling with a crying child, I smiled at her.
The bus emerged forward and I grabbed the pole for balance. At that time it happened – the shouts of the child louder. I noticed that the man would solidify in his chair.
He turned to his mother frowning. “Can’t you calm that child?”
She looked embarrassed. “I’m sorry, it’s bite.” I try my best. ”
“Well, your best isn’t good enough,” he said.
I had enough. “Hey, buddy,” I called. “And what about you to mind your own business?” He does what he can. ”
I was shot by a poisoned look and turned away. I exchanged a calming look with my mother. “You’re doing great,” I told her. She gave me a grateful nod.
The older man near me leaned to me. “Don’t let him get to you, dear.” Some people just wake up on the wrong side of the bed. ”
I laughed. “Rather as the bad side of life.”
Karma played its role for the next half-hour Every time a man retreated, the child released a cry. And the best part? The little one started digging.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
The back of the seat Men beat. I bit my lips to stop in laughter.
“For love – can you control your child?” Stepal to the mother.
She looked close to tears. “I’m sorry, it’s just restless.” It’s a long way. ”
I couldn’t resist. “You know if you gave me my chair back, you don’t deal with it.”
He ignored me, but I saw his eye twitch.
The teenager opposite me. “A friend will lose it.”
I smiled. “Serves him right.”
At that moment rain drops hit windows. The man sighed and reached for the roof. “Great, exactly what we need – Rain!”
He ripped on the hatch and a loud crack occurred. His face paled. “Uh.”
Water began to drip on his head. He tried to close the hatch but was stuck. Every few seconds landed another drop with a soft pad.
“Do you have trouble there?” I asked sweetly.
He turned and dripped from his cap. “Shut up!” That’s your fault somehow, I know it! ”
I raised my hands innocently. “Hey, I’m here all the way.” Maybe it’s just … karma? ”
Mother and child, now calm, giggled. The man shot his glare before he fell into his seat and ran to the drops as if they were flies.
A middle-aged to me, “I never saw anything like that. It’s as if the universe gave him what he deserves. ”
I nodded and held a straight face. “Three strikes and he’s out.”
As we approached our stop, the idea came to me. I reached into my wallet and pulled out a small pile of cash – mostly, but with a few twenty to the top to make it look much. I placed it quietly under the nearby seat.
“Oh wow!” I said loudly and bent down. “Look what I just found!”
The whole bus fell silent. I lost the money. “Did anyone lose it?” It was under this chair. ”
The male head fired so quickly that I thought he could get a whip. His eyes locked on cash.
“That’s mine!” Screamed and jumped. “I had to drop it before!”
I picked up my eyebrows. “Really? Can you prove that? Did anyone see the guy?” I pointed to the seat where I planted the money.
The passenger rang the “no” choir.
The man’s face turned red. “Give me money, you a thief!”
He rejected it – but the karma had the last move. His leg grabbed the bag and he went to fly the first face into the aisle.
The bus filled the collective breath, followed by silence. He slowly pushed and gripped his arm. “You’ll pay for it,” he growled. “I’m going to sue!”
I disintegrated with a laugh. “Suck me for what?” Find your own money? ”
His mouth opened. “What?”
I shrugged. “It’s mine.”
His jaw clenched, but was silent.
When the bus retreated to the station, I turned to my mother and the child. “That was amazing,” she said. “Thank you for standing up to him.”
I smiled. “We bus riders have to stick together.” In addition, your little one has done most of the work. ”
She laughed. “Usually he’s so calm.” I think he just sensed that the guy needed a lesson. ”
The older gentleman of the earlier laughed. “I have never seen such justice in all of my riding buses.” Well, young lady. ”
As we got out, the man rushed and was still dripping wet. When I watched him postpone I couldn’t help myself, but I felt happy.
“Karma is fun,” I thought. “And sometimes it takes a bus.”
When I went from the stop, I noticed that the young mother was juggling her bags and a child. I ran.
“Do you need a hand?” I asked.
She sighed with relief. “Oh, that would be amazing.”
We walked and talked about the bus ride. When we reached the corner, I stiffened. The man from the bus was sitting in a cafe trying to dry the napkins.
Lisa, the woman I helped, suppressed laughter. “Should we say hello?”
I smiled. “Absolutely.”
We crossed. “Fancy, I see you here.”
Looked up, irritated. “You! Didn’t you do enough?”
I raised my hands. “Actually I wanted to apologize.” The thing of money was a bit too much. ”
He blinked, grabbed out of sight. “O. Well … I wasn’t even an angel.”
Lisa smiled and rocked her child. “We all have bad days.” Maybe we can start fresh? ”
The man looked at the child and softened. “He’s pretty cute when she doesn’t shout.”
We laughed, and the tension released. When Lisa and I left, I thought, maybe Karma worked on us all today.
In the end, what began as an angry meeting turned into an unforgettable lesson – for all of us. Sometimes karma enters when we least expect it and brings justice in the most modern ways. But besides poetic return, this experience reminded me of the power of kindness, patience,, and a second chance.
When Lisa and I left, I realized that while Karma certainly pointed out her opinion, she had compassion. Even the most durable people can change – if there is the right pressure. And maybe, maybe Victor learned that a little respect went a long way.
With a happy smile, I continued my way and I knew the universe had a funny way of balancing weight.
