She told how the surgeon turned her “beautiful, healthy face” into something out of a horror movie. After the operation, Julia, a mother of two, had serious health problems, although her original goal was to address minor signs of aging.
Initially, Yulia had several surgeries, such as a facelift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), and fat reduction on the cheeks. Sadly, the result made her look “disfigured”. After the first treatment, she couldn’t close her eyes, so she needed more emergency procedures to stop the necrosis in them. According to what Yulia told Channel 1, the excision of the tissue left her with scars on her cheeks and she was unable to move her upper lip, smile, or make other facial expressions. She said she was confused because her previous rhinoplasty surgery went smoothly and no genetic problems were found.
According to Julia Tarasevich, the first procedures caused scleroderma, a rare inherited disorder that hardens the skin. She filed a negligence lawsuit against Dr. Andrey Komarov and Omar Khaled, the two surgeons who performed the operation. However, Yulia did not provide conclusive evidence that she had the disease.
