Living next to noisy neighbors can be quite a challenge. Just ask Cilla Carden, who’s had her fair share of unpleasant experiences with her neighbors that led her all the way to Australia’s Supreme Court. The Perth-based massage therapist took legal action against her neighbors, arguing that their constant use of their barbecue and noisy basketball games made it impossible for her to enjoy her own backyard.
“I couldn’t sleep,” Carden said. Destroyed, messed up and messed up.” Carden, a vegan, complained for months about his neighbors smoking and barbecuing. He also shared his thoughts on kids shooting hoops. “They put it there just so I could smell fish,”

But after the event, which drew 24,000 viewers, police issued a warning and Carden’s lawyers threatened legal action. The trip was late.
