A woman in her 92, informed of having only a few weeks to live, surpasses expectations by meeting her namesake.

The story of this couple, who have been married for 75 years, is truly remarkable. Their love has endured for more than seven decades through good times and bad.

Married for 75 years, this unusual couple values the importance of family.

The couple’s great-granddaughter, Kayla Tracy, shared her story to show what true love looks like and how excited they both were at the thought of holding a newborn.

A World War II veteran who raised Kayla, he lives by the motto “Work every day or it won’t be enough.”

According to Kayla, the man still works as a log cutter and feeds the fish in the pond on his 85-acre farm, despite being blind and having 90% of his hearing gone.

Since raising their three boys, they have had seven great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

The two soulmates have been married for 75 years, according to Kayla. Over the past 75 years, there have been many heartbreaks as well as joys and good times. From the inside out, they are a godly marriage and regularly attend church services.

However, the family has just received terrible news. 92-year-old great-grandmother Kayla was given three weeks to live after her doctor showed signs of kidney failure.

According to Kayla, her sister decided to take time off work to take care of her. Her sister was also there, waiting. She took care of their great-grandmother until the 36th week of pregnancy.

As Kayla said, “Her great-grandmother would comment that she only wanted to live long enough to see a baby girl. When Magnolia Jean arrived, her great-grandmother was over the moon! Maybe because Jean Roper was the inspiration for the name Magnolia.”

As soon as her sister gave birth, her great-grandmother began to recover. She cooked and cleaned the house. She was eager to hold her new great-great-grandchild.

Professional photographer Kayla captured the priceless moment.

Nine weeks after being diagnosed with depression, Kayla says her great-grandmother began to improve. She and her husband celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary at the time, and Kayla was there to photograph them on their 85-acre property.

One of the reasons Kayla, who runs her own photography company Kayla Tracy Photography, became a photographer was to capture these images. Being able to stop these memories for her family and means everything to her.

She likes to take pictures of them whenever she can. She feels incredibly lucky to have attracted such sincere adoration. She can only wish that her husband would show her such affection. He wants everyone to see these pictures and understand that true love exists.

These beautiful pictures really capture how much these two love each other. I’m glad Jean was able to meet the new addition to the family; no doubt it gave her a newfound strength to continue.

In a world where relationships are often fleeting, this couple’s enduring love is a shining example of what is possible when two people commit to each other for life. They showed that even in the face of tragedy, love can conquer all.
