The Batayeh family thanked Mike for his commitment to “helping youth in the community where he lived and grew up facing similar challenges” in their obituary, which was posted on the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home website. Any gifts made in his honor will help and provide entertainment for the children of Southwest Detroit.
