Stevenson’s agent Nicki Fioravante confirmed that he died on Sunday.

Ray Stevenson excelled as an artist. The British actor has been a strong presence on screen in a wide range of roles, including drama, action, and historical productions.
His birth took place on May 25, 1964, in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. He and his family moved to England when he was eight years old. Ray Stevenson’s debut film was Theory of Flight (1998).
Many viewers can probably still vividly recall his role as Titus Pullo on the HBO television series Rome, which aired from 2005 to 2007.

Stevenson had one of his most enduring roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Thor as Volstagg, one of the Warriors Three. Punisher: War Zone also stars Frank Castle/Punisher. The movie RRR, the current Indian hit movie which won the Oscar in 2022, featured an outstanding senior actor.
Throughout his long film career, Ray Stevenson has not ceased to amaze audiences with his ability to successfully portray villains as well as heroic roles. According to rumors, Stevenson was praised for having “confidence, presence, and enough testosterone to power a city block,” as one film critic described it.

According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, he was hospitalized on the island of Ischia while filming Cassino on Ischia. The reason for his death is still a mystery.
Ray’s surviving children are Sebastiano (15), Leonardo (12), and Lodovico Stevenson. His wife of many years.
Their children and an Italian anthropologist he met at work were born with him.
The news is pretty dire. He played a lot of different characters that I liked. His acting talent was substantially enhanced by his physical presence and charm. Ray Stevenson has excelled in every role he has taken on.
