Amid ongoing controversies and legal battles, actress Amber Heard has reportedly taken drastic measures to distance herself from the public eye.
He actually lives on another continent!
except for the name change!
The lengths to which she went, astounded people. By now everyone is aware that Johnny Depp has won the well-publicized domestic violence case against his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard.
And thankfully, the trials seem to be over – at least temporarily. Depp said in a statement at the time that the jury had given him his life back.
This pairing initially seemed to be the beginning of a good relationship.
After splitting from his longtime wife Vanessa Paradis, the actor started dating Texas actress and model Amber Heard after they met on the set of The Rum Diary in 2011.
In 2014, they announced their engagement.
And wasting no time, they quickly got married in February 2015, just a year later.
But it was at this point that things started to get a bit ship-shape.
Their honeymoon was relatively short, as just a few months after they got hitched, Depp reportedly injured his hand while “smashing bottles and windows” with his wife.
Numerous allegations of abuse between the two persisted for a year afterward.
It was a serious accusation to compare…
That’s why when Heard retracted her claims a day before the scheduled hearing, people were confused.
But that didn’t stop the public from hating Depp.
Heard said the actor beat her numerous times and even made a video of him throwing wine glasses across the room during the outburst.
The actress also spoke about her experiences with domestic violence and abuse in a 2018 piece for The Washington Post.
Despite the fact that she did not mention Depp specifically, she referred to a time when “two years ago I became a public figure representing domestic violence and felt the full force of our culture’s anger towards women who spoke out. “
whom the American Civil Liberties Union even named its “Ambassador for Women’s Issues.”
The lingering subject had a negative impact on Depp’s career.
Directors cast Depp less and less in roles…
Additionally, The Crimes of Grindelwald, the sequel to Fantastic Beasts by J.K. Rowling, received harsh criticism for its inclusion.
He was also fired from his ongoing role as Captain Jack Sparrow in 2018.
Four days after Heard’s devastating stunt, Disney made the career-shattering revelation that the actor would no longer be a part of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
But then things took a sharp turn.
In his $50 million defamation lawsuit against Heard, Depp said he was the victim of abuse rather than the other way around.
The actor surprisingly claimed that he was the victim all along.
In his defamation suit, Depp claimed that “the op-ed [Heard’s article] hinged on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a victim of domestic violence and that Mr. Depp had committed domestic violence against her.”
The complaint stated that Heard’s claims were “categorically and demonstrably false” in all respects.
He cited instances of Heard allegedly abusing him since they married, including punching, kicking, and staging her attacks.
The claim is hard to understand.
They kicked me, punched me, and hit me. In addition, she regularly threw heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, television remotes, and paint thinner cans at my head and body, seriously injuring me. He wrote a lawsuit.
And further damage the actress’s integrity and reputation…
She confessed to assaulting Depp in an audio recording obtained by the Daily Mail and published.
The case was difficult.
Depp then appeared in court for his defamation claim against the tabloid The Sun, which he accuses of publishing a 2018 article referring to him as a “wife beater”.
Both were present in court for the three-week trial.
Both sides engaged in some questionable behavior in court and released compromising pictures of each other that once again proved everything false. Of course, the proof was followed by more accusations.
Despite this, Depp lost the lawsuit, which was a major setback for the actor’s reputation.
So he decided to try again to clear his name.
Depp and his legal team have pledged to prove the forgery of the images Heard presented during the lawsuit.
To give the impression that he often abused her, when in fact Depp claims it was the other way around.
According to Page Six, Heard edited the pictures to make it look like she had two black eyes…
He allegedly assaulted her in 2015.
Benjamin Chew, Depp’s lawyer, claimed: “Ms. Heard’s representative repeatedly used these fake photos in the deposition.”
He went on to say that in his opinion, the LAPD “dissociated itself from the photos” previously provided to the court because they “didn’t show what they saw.”
According to Chew, the LAPD’s assessment “found no injury to Ms. Heard and no breach of the shelters”…
“The fabricated photos of Ms. Heard and her boyfriend that she used to obtain an ex parte TRO [temporary injunction] and a $7 million divorce settlement that Ms. Heard falsely claimed to have been given to the ACLU in London and, more scandalously, to the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, where sick children with cancer were treated,” he continued.
So three years later Ms. Heard or someone acting on her behalf altered those photos. In her evidence in London, Mrs. Heard falsely denied this when it was raised. Basically, Your Honor, Mr. Neumeister cannot accurately evaluate or corroborate Ms. Heard’s findings without forensic imaging,” Chew continued.
Depp sued Heard for defamation, claiming that her comments during their argument damaged his reputation.
Depp went on to explain in more detail how the allegations affected his children.
“I felt it was diabolical that my children would have to go to school for their friends or people at school to contact them with the infamous People magazine cover of Miss Heard with a dark bruise on her face,” the father said.
The actor, who describes himself as “very private,” said it would be “quite revealing” for him to come here and sit in front of you all and spill the truth. He added that it was unfortunate because it “never had to go this way” and that it would also be “a revelation for my family, a revelation for Miss Heard”.
Additionally, he said that “the truth” is his ultimate goal and that he is not ashamed because “I know I’m doing the right thing.”
Then Savannah asked, “There’s a text message where Johnny offers to completely embarrass you around the world. Can you believe that came true?”
I testified to it, so I know he promised it, Heard said. I understand that I am not a good victim. I’m not a sympathetic victim and I’m certainly not a flawless victim, but when I testified I begged the jury to hear my own words and see me as a human being, which is a commitment to do that. It seems he has.
Shared alleged messages from Heard to her father and therapist were made public after the entire interview with Dateline aired.
The debut teaser for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom served as the start of Warner Bros.’s two-hour presentation on Monday.
Heard’s Mera was shown in two brief flashes in the trailer but was not revealed after the presentation, according to Insider.
Despite the lack of spoken dialogue in the trailer, Mera was reportedly seen “fighting underwater”.
Plus, she was reportedly wearing a brand-new white outfit, according to another claim by The Direct.
However, considering she said during her defamation suit with Johnny Depp that a significant number of her sequences were cut from the sequel, it’s uncertain how big a role she’ll play. Amber Heard has reportedly changed her identity and reportedly moved to Europe!
As news of Heard’s move and name change comes out, there is speculation about the impact it will have on her career and future projects. There are rumors that she previously claimed that significant parts of her scenes were removed from the “Aquaman” sequel due to disputes. Whether her limited presence in the film is a result of these allegations or her recent decision to step back from the limelight remains uncertain.
The public is still reeling from the aftermath of Depp and Heard’s high-profile legal battles, and it remains to be seen how this latest development will affect their lives and careers. Choosing to live on another continent and assume a new identity for Heard reflects her desire for privacy and a fresh start away from the glare of public scrutiny.
