An 11-year-old girl’s mother is angry after her daughter’s teacher seized a pig drawing, claiming it was inappropriate.

The incident at Hanover-Horton Elementary School caused an uproar on social media, with many people expressing their support for the 11-year-old girl and her mother.

A mother has slammed her daughter’s school after it removed what appeared to be an innocent drawing, calling it “inappropriate” and threatening to write her child up for it.

Here’s how he explains why the drawing caused such a stir:

Michigan resident Sierra Carter and Hanover-Horton Elementary School got into an argument over a drawing her child made.

The mother then decided to share the situation with her thousands of followers on TikTok.

“I’m not making this shit up,” Sierra captioned the post.

The mother said the incident began when she received a call from her daughter’s school, who is 11 years old.

Sierra said: “I was alerted by her teacher that my daughter had drawn something inappropriate in art class.

The teacher informed the mother that another classmate had noticed a different aspect of the 11-year-old’s overall picture.

“A little boy came up to her and pointed out that he thought my daughter had drawn ‘boy bits’ on her pig project,” she recalled. She then walked up to my daughter and demanded all her papers, to which my daughter giggled nervously.

Sierra emphasized the specifics, saying her daughter told the instructor “right away” that she drew a “bow tie.”

The instructor then informed Sierra’s daughter that the principal would be involved.

She reported that the instructor then confiscated all of her papers and instructed her to give my daughter’s project to the school’s assistant principal.

When Sierra arrived at school to “fix” the situation, she was given a drawing of her daughter.

“As soon as I look at it, I’m like, are you kidding me?” she exclaimed. I literally slammed my hand on the table.

“Like, why are we sitting here, and why has this become such a big deal?” It’s a bow tie, she continued.

The mother further stated that the principal’s first reaction was to “write up” the 11-year-old.

Sierra spoke with him and learned that the Headmaster believed the drawing was more than just a bow tie.

According to Sierra, he added, “A bow tie is a bow.”

The mother replied, “I’m sorry, but my daughter is not Monet; for her, a bow tie is a bow tie and a tie.”

She said: “And if another child happened to look at it and think it was something else – it sounds more like he’s the problem, not him.”

Although the headmaster chose not to write the child, he kept her drawing in a “folder” in a case similar events might occur in the future.

“It is unfortunate that our employees have been portrayed negatively in a one-sided narrative on social media,”

He went on to say that no student was “singled out” and that staff handled the incident “compassionately” and “discreetly”.

“Nothing in this matter was included in the school records of any student,” he continued. Every attempt has been made to preserve the dignity and privacy of each student.

More than 819,000 views, 80.9 thousand likes, and tens of thousands of comments show that viewers were ready to have their say.

“I would tell them that I was upset that they were sexualizing how my child was drawing on what the young boy said,” the TikTok user wrote. They should feel guilty.

“Since when are ‘boys biting’ necks? Another person furiously added: “I would meet with the boss.

A third commenter saw the bowtie and said, “It’s a bowtie! Don’t you think anything else would be a little lower?”

Last but not least, the TikTok user said: “I’m glad you stood up for your daughter.” “She’s very innocent and that’s definitely a bow tie. It’s sad that it happened.”

Hanover-Horton Elementary School has been contacted by LADbible for further comment.

it is important to remember that children have the right to express themselves freely, without fear of censorship or punishment. They also have the right to be listened to and taken seriously, even if their views differ from those of adults. By working together and being open to different perspectives, we can create a safer and more inclusive environment for all children.

  1. This is so sad.
So the adults start with all the gender dysphoria and pass it on to our kids. I can not ever process how the complaining child came up with this being innapropriate. Instead of the schools teaching all this nonsense, maybe go back to academics and there would not be all these issues. We have so many messed up ideas that are infecting the thinking of our children. Please give it a break. More harm is being done than anything positive. Children are on the streets, robbing burning things, attacking others from the young to the seniors, it is a free for all of insanity.

  2. I haven’t been to a Bob Evans restaurant in a long time (None near me) but Bob Evans employees used to wear a “western style” string tie that had a bow AND strings hanging down…could that be where the girl got the idea?
