Design & Build Quality

The Asus Zenfone 9 is a beautiful phone. It’s made of all aluminum with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on the front. The phone is available in three colors: midnight black, sapphire black, and titanium gray. 

The display is 5.9 inches diagonally, but it doesn’t feel too big to hold because it has rounded corners and notches that take up space at the top and bottom of the screen. 

The bezels are only around 2mm wide on each side, so most apps can fit comfortably without needing to scroll left or right. And because this phone has no physical buttons on its sides, there’s plenty of room for your fingers to grip it securely while you’re holding it up to your face.

It feels solid enough to withstand some drops onto concrete or asphalt as well as daily wear-and-tear without showing any scratches or scuffs over time.  A lot of phones these days offer IP ratings for water resistance (typically IP68), which means they’ll survive in 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. 

The Asus Zenfone 9 isn’t rated for waterproofing, but it does have an ingress protection rating (IP68) that means it will survive submersion underwater to depths of 6.6 feet (2 meters) for up to 30 minutes—or just long enough to get out of the pool or bathtub! Overall, I’m impressed with its design and build quality.

Display

The Asus Zenfone 9 is a budget-friendly smartphone that has a lot to offer users. It has a sleek design, a great camera, and a long-lasting battery. Plus, its price is very reasonable. I’ve been using the Asus Zenfone 9 for several months now and I’m very impressed with it. 

The Asus Zenfone 9 has a pretty good display. It’s not as sharp as some of its rivals, but it still looks great and it doesn’t have any serious issues with color reproduction. It also supports HDR10+, but that isn’t an issue since HDR content is lacking. 

Text on websites and apps is easy to read even in direct sunlight thanks to the high brightness levels supported by its 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. 

Colors are vibrant, but whites aren’t quite as bright as they should be. It does have a notch like most modern smartphones though and that can get annoying when watching videos full screen. 

That’s about all you’ll find wrong with this phone at this price point so if you’re looking for something cheap but don’t want to sacrifice quality then take a look at the Asus Zenfone 9.

It’s definitely worth the price. One of my favorite features of this phone is that it’s always up to date because of the software updates from Google. I’ve used this phone for more than two years and there have been no problems whatsoever. 

The battery life on this device lasts around seven hours before needing to be charged again which makes me happy because other phones need to be charged much more often than that. If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, you should consider checking out this one!

The Asus Zenfone 9 offers an excellent camera experience with its double rear camera setup. It consists of a 50MP primary sensor, ad a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The camera app is user-friendly and offers a variety of features such as night mode, portrait mode, and panorama. 

The image quality is good in both low-light and well-lit conditions. The phone is also capable of shooting 4K videos at 120fps. For selfies, the device packs a 12MP front camera with a depth sensor to create bokeh effects. 

There are also various beauty modes available in the camera app. I found that it took great photos outdoors but could be grainy indoors when there was no light source. 

The front-facing camera also has a wide-angle lens so you can take group shots without needing a selfie stick or sacrificing too much space on either side of your face. 

As for video chatting, the speaker on this device is not loud enough so make sure you are close to your laptop or tablet if you plan on using video chat services like Skype or Hangouts during your review period. 

Overall, I found that this smartphone offered superb battery life and had excellent camera quality overall with great features that were simple enough for any user to use!

Battery Life & Charging

Asus has outdone themselves with the battery life on the Asus Zenfone 9. It has a 4,300mAh battery life. I was easily able to get two days of simple use out of the phone without having to charge it overnight. 

And when I did need to charge it, the fast charging feature worked like a charm. I was able to get from 0% to 100% in just under an hour. The only time I had any issues with this device is when I let my battery die completely and then tried to recharge it before plugging it into the outlet. 

This is also one of my favorite features about it. It is great to not have to charge your phone every night or wake up in a panic wondering if you are going to make it through your day on just 10% of your battery life. 

With the huge 4300 mAh battery, you can enjoy your phone throughout the day and still be assured that there will be enough juice left over to get home safely after work. 

The Asus Zenfone 9 has plenty of power for all types of users who don’t want to worry about their smartphone dying before they do. Not only does it have more than enough battery life, but its fast charging capabilities mean you never have to worry about waiting around for hours for your phone to recharge. 

The 4300 Mah battery lasts for at least 1-2 days on a single charge and 2-3 days of heavy usage. The price point is also pretty reasonable at $785 so long as you’re willing to spend the money upfront on a newer model rather than settling with last year’s technology at lower prices.
