Auto Two years ago, my daughter and son-in-law did something, and then one day, my grandkids yelled, “Grandma, look, that’s our mom and dad!”

Georgia never believed by chance.

But when she received an anonymous letter and then witnessed the shocking explosion of her grandchildren on the beach, she could not shake the feeling that something bigger was in the game – something was about to turn her world up.

“Grandma, that’s mom and dad!” They shouted and pointed to a nearby café. The Georgian heart raced as she watched their gaze just to see a couple who looked scary like her late daughter Monica and son-in-law Stephan-two people who died two years ago in a tragic accident. Could they really be alive? What was the truth behind this unexpected meeting?

Sadness has a way to transform you, transform everything you once believed about yourself. But in that particular summer blow, when Georgia stood in her kitchen and stared at an anonymous letter, she felt something completely different.

The note contained only five words: they are not really gone.

It looked impossible. How could it after two years of reconstruction of his life for his grandchildren, Andy and Peter after the death of Monika and Stephan? But that wasn’t all. Soon thereafter, the old Monika credit card – which Georgia kept to keep her daughter’s account – with the announcement. He mentioned a recent fee in a local cafe.

Shaken, Georgia called Customer Service. “I ask about my daughter’s transaction,” she said, trembling. Representative, Billy, hesitated before the answer.

“Ma’am, this fee was not created with a physical card. It was a virtual card associated with an account.”

“A virtual card?” Georgia asked confused. “I never set it up.”

Billy explained, “It looks like a virtual card was created just before your daughter went through. Would you like me to deactivate it?”

“No,” Georgia replied quickly, and her heart raced. “Please leave it active.”

After the call, Georgia reached out of her best friend Elly and explained a strange turn of events.

“I don’t know,” Georgia said. “But I have to come.”

On Saturday, when Andy and Peter begged to go to the beach, Georgia decided to take them together with Ella. When the boys played happily in the water, Georgia shared a mysterious letter with her boyfriend.

“Grandma, look! It’s mom and dad!” Andy screamed.

Frozen, Georgia followed his view of a couple sitting by the window.

“Stay here with Ella,” she told the boys as her eyes locked for a couple.

The man looked at her and whispered, “It’s risky, but we didn’t have a choice.”

The woman sighed. “I miss them … especially boys.”

Georgian heart pounded her chest. Could it be really them?

“Mommy?” She whispered in disbelief. “How … How did you find us?”

Before she could say anything else, Stephan appeared. “How could you leave your children? Do you have any idea what did you do us?”

The truth came out. Monica and Stephan disappeared death to escape the stunning debt and threats of dangerous individuals.

“We thought we were protecting the boy,” Monica soaked. “We believed they would have a better life without us.”

“Mom! Dad! We knew you came back!” Andy and Peter called and harassed their hands around them. The police allowed to find shortly before she took Monika and Stephan for interrogation. One officer turned to Georgia and said, “Madam is facing serious accusations. That’s … very unusual.”

That night Georgia was sitting alone, an anonymous letter still on the coffee table. She whispered in the silence of the room: “I did the right thing by calling the police? Or should I keep their secrets?”

Although she felt that justice had to be served, she could not help, but she felt for her grandchildren who would now have to endure the loss of their parents again. Georgia knew that it had to be difficult to decide – to protect Andy and Peter from further pain.

If you were in my shoes, how would you deal with the situation? Would you keep the secret or contact the authorities?

Finally, Georgia’s decision to involve the authorities in her heart. While she understood the necessity of justice and the truth coming to light, she could not ignore the immense pain that would cause her grandchildren that have endured so much. Her choice to call the police, although difficult, was driven by the belief that the protection of her grandchildren from another fraud was the right thing. When she thought late at night, Georgia couldn’t help but wonder if someone else would decide in her shoes. No matter what the future was doing, she knew one thing with certainty: her love for Andy and Peter would always manage her actions, no matter how difficult the way forward.
