Known for his reserved and mysterious personality, Zayn Malik recently embarked on a journey of unexpected openness that surprised many of his fans.
Malik has been one of pop music’s elusive figures for years, often shunning the spotlight and letting his art do the talking. His reticent nature only fueled the intrigue surrounding him, and his recent wave of transparency was all the more surprising.
Whether it’s a sign of personal growth or simply a new chapter in his life, Malik’s decision to share more of his thoughts and feelings with the world marks a significant departure from his previous approach. The shift sparked a wave of curiosity and speculation about what might be driving the change and what it might mean for the future of his music and public image.
Zayn Malik has been really transparent lately. Considering that he is a quiet individual who expresses his opinions mainly through music and not through social media, this is unexpected.
The singer has spent the last month reflecting on the highs and lows of his career, including his time in One Direction (well, unless it’s a UFC fight). The Mind of Mine singer said in an interview with Zach Sang on May 8 that he wishes he had appreciated that time more.
On the Zach Sang Show, Malik stated, “When I think back on my life, the main thing I always feel bad about is not enjoying the band enough.” “I feel like I took things too seriously. I’m thankful that I can be happier now. I can actually enjoy things and own my own perspective a little bit. Like a glass half full versus half empty. My choice.”
As the band’s popularity reached new heights, Malik continued that he “didn’t understand the importance of being happy”. He was just 17 when One Direction first appeared on The X Factor in 2011 and then released their debut album that same year. “I had a chip on my shoulder, like that teenage angst thing. I was like,
“You’re just an underdog and it’s really cool to be moody all the time,” he remarked.
Malik left 1D in March 2015 after four years to focus on his solo endeavors. The surviving members — Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne — then announced a year later that they were splitting up. After the permanent hiatus, Malik’s relations with his former teammates took on an unusually volatile nature.
One minute they’d be friendly, then they’d get into a random online argument or start saying questionable things about each other in the next conversation. But despite the unpredictable drama, the former gang always seemed to reconcile.
After reaching a comfortable point in his profession, Malik regrets not being a “nicer person” to himself and others. “You should be someone that people want to be with and enjoy being in your presence, and you should bring light into people’s day instead of being this shitty cloud of negative energy,” he said.
It looks like he’ll be balancing fatherhood — he and ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid have a 3-year-old daughter named Khai — and rediscovering his singing voice on his upcoming folk-blues album Room Under the Stairs.

Rumors are nothing new for Lady Gaga. She explored this reality in Chromatic’s “Babylon”, alluding to her constant encounters with people who “gobbled up” or spread false rumors about their personal lives. Now she reveals the stories and sounds like a tortured poet. Fans began to speculate that the singer was pregnant after several pictures of her appeared on social media. However, Gaga put an end to the rumors by bringing up Taylor Swift, another celebrity who is used to rumors.
Gaga responded to pregnancy rumors on TikTok on June 4. Gaga took the opportunity to encourage her followers to “register to vote at www.headcount.org” ahead of this year’s election. “I’m not pregnant. I’m just bad crying in the gym,” she captioned the video, pointing to the chorus of Swift’s Tortured Poets Department single “Down Bad.” She later posted a new video on X, the former name for Twitter, with the same title.
On June 3, photos of Gaga at her sister’s wedding in Maine surfaced on X, sparking rumors that she was pregnant. According to The Sun, the singer, who served as her sister’s maid of honor, was said to be enjoying the celebrations alongside her longtime partner Michael Polanski.
Fans were quick to refute the allegations on Gaga’s behalf, saying people should stop talking about women’s bodies before she even uploaded her TikTok. Swift agreed, making a similar comment on Gaga’s TikTok video on June 5. “We can all agree that it is invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body. Gaga owes no one an explanation and no woman,” she added with a kiss emoji.
This isn’t the first time Swift and Gaga have publicly supported each other. The Fame Monster singer praised Swift in January 2023 for discussing her eating disorder and journey to self-love in her Miss Americana 2020 documentary.
As for all the unverified reports, this is Gaga’s second rumored experience this year. Fans of Gaga and Polanski, who have been dating since late 2019, speculated in April that the couple had secretly gotten engaged. The singer hasn’t responded to the rumors, but since she’s back on the Chromatic stage, it would be famous if she lip-synced TikTok’s “Babylon.”
…RETURN?

In 2024, harsh misinformation and the revelation of the legal names of celebrities in interviews, or at least their desire to be addressed by them, will be published. Many celebrities go by stage names, but their famous monikers sound so authentic to fans that they think it’s their real name. Reese Witherspoon is the person who brought it up to Nicole Kidman and explained to her why she never used her real first name while working on Big Little Lies.
Kidman and Witherspoon appeared on Vanity Fair Reunited on June 5. There, the two discussed their connection with co-star Laura Dern and the closeness they developed while filming HBO’s Big Little Lies, which ended in 2019.
Kidman said that Witherspoon only calls Dern by her last name during their conversation, which constantly confused her.
“But I hate how you call her Dern. It sounds weird. I always say ‘Laura’.” And you say, “No, Dern.” Dirt. Kidman remarked, “My name is Laura and her name is Laura. That’s why I took it,” Witherspoon said. I call her Dern because I’m confused. Neither of us can be Laura.”
Witherspoon’s real name is Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, for those who don’t know.
Reese, her mother’s maiden name, was the stage name she adopted when she began her acting career. (Don’t worry, Kidman’s stage name is her real one.) It still surprises fans that Witherspoon isn’t as famous as she seems; on X, the former Twitter, one user wrote, “I feel like a liar,” while another said her real name suited her.
Kidman acknowledged that she saw the vision, but Witherspoon scoffed and said she shouldn’t be surprised because Dern doesn’t call her “Laura.” Witherspoon laughed it off, commenting, “I don’t understand your point and I don’t like your tone.”
During the interview, the two discussed Big Little Lies Season 3. First, they talked about Kidman’s 2020 gaffe, in which she revealed that a third season was planned. At the time, Witherspoon and other cast members were tight-lipped about the show’s future, joking about how Kidman’s comments made people wonder “what if” all these years later.
After confirming that a third season was indeed taking place, Kidman commented, “I was blown away” by her earlier statements. “But now we are! We’re moving fast and furious and Liane Moriarty brings the book. Yeah, we’re in good shape.”
The Monterey Five, including both Lauras, appear to be returning.

Maybe don’t expect it to play like your favorite PS5 or Nintendo Switch games, but fans of the series will at least have a nice side quest to pass the time until Season 4 arrives.
Along with thirteen other future games based on Netflix material, Emily in Paris was also announced. While this was the most surprising episode to be turned into a video game, several other shows were notable as well, including Selling Sunset, Too Hot To Handle, and Perfect Match.

Netflix Stories: Emily in Paris is more of a choose-your-own visual adventure story. MASTER MIND
In 2010, Taylor Swift subtly teased the tortured poem.
The inspiration for this song goes way back.

FUN AND GREAT PICTURES
Since Taylor Swift has always written autobiographical songs, one of her latest records from The Tortured Poets Department seems to draw inspiration from a song from 2010. An old video of Swift is going viral on X, the previous Twitter. In it, she subtly hinted at her song “But Daddy I Love Him” from 2024. a total of fourteen years before its release.
Swift said of Fearless at the time: “I wrote this song right after I had the most epic teenage tantrum I’ve ever thrown in my life, and I remember screaming something like, ‘Oh, Dad, I love him! ” (BTW, a viral tweet mistakenly placed this acceptance speech in 2008.) The 2010 clip shows Swift on stage at the BMI Pop Awards, accepting Song of the Year for “Love Story.”
Swift sings “But Daddy I Love Him” with lyrics almost identical to those from her 2010 speech: “And now I’m racing with my dress unzipped / Screaming ‘But Daddy, I love him! Lots of words!” the lyrics of “Love Story” are somewhat mature: “You were Romeo, throwing stones / And my dad said, ‘Stay away from Juliet’ / And I cried on the stairs / Begged you, ‘Please don’t go.’
Swifties reacted to the now-viral video in a nutshell. “Just supports the fact that BDILH is just a more grown up and angrier version of Love Story and instead of it being your parents, it’s the public and the internet and your haters and fans,” one person wrote after watching the clip.
Someone else said: “Further proof the love story was going in that direction but Dad I love him he could RUNNN.”
Some admirers pointed to the fact that Swift seemed to live up to the moniker “Mastermind,” as seen in the 14-year-old’s Easter egg. After the video, one commented: “Really Mastermind.”
While Swift herself can’t remember the exact words she uttered more than a decade ago, it’s clear that the inspiration behind TTPD’s songs goes back a long way.
NOT YET?
BEBE REXHA WAS KICKED OUT OF A CONCERT AFTER FANS THREW THINGS AT HER
That’s such a strange pattern.

2023 was an odd year for concerts. No artist seemed to be safe from irrational fans throwing random objects at them, even in the presence of venue barriers. A fan threw a bag of ashes and a wheel of Brie at Pink, Harry Styles got chicken nuggets and Bebe Rexha was famously hit in the forehead with a phone. Fast forward to this summer when Rexha hits the road again. He also isn’t going to put up with fans who don’t know how to behave during live shows.
Rexha had many audience members removed from her event in Wisconsin on June 1 after objects were thrown at her. The actress was seen holding herself to the ground in a TikTok video, but it is unclear what was thrown. Rexha recalled the phone incident last June when she yelled, “If you want to punch me in the face, I’ll let them blame the other guy,” live. “I would like to become richer.”
It didn’t take long for Rexha to clarify that she was “just kidding” and didn’t mean to “invite” such behavior. But the audience applauded her for solving the matter quickly. A little later, the video shows another spectator being taken out of the auditorium. Rexha apologized to the audience for the interruption, saying, “It didn’t have to go that far,” before continuing her performance.
Nicholas Malvagna, a concertgoer, phoned Rex at her New York show in June 2023. (The “My Heart Wants What It Wants” singer was on her Best F’n Night of My Life tour at the time; she was stitched up. He later admitted that he hit the object because he “thought it would be funny.”
Malvagna was reportedly charged shortly thereafter with one count of second-degree harassment and two counts of third-degree assault. A minor development in the case came in February of this year when Malvagna agreed to a court offer to have his charges dropped in exchange for 40 days of community service.
Chris Crocker needs to make a video for “Leave Bebe Rexha Alone” right now.
STAR
Miley revealed that she will only return to acting in one way.
Her reasoning is really logical.

Even though Miley Cyrus’ career as a movie star is currently on hold, she wouldn’t say no to bringing it back. She recently revealed that the only thing that could convince her to continue acting would be a very certain kind of character, so she would immediately say no to a lot of acting roles. Here’s why Cyrus is much more selective about the roles she takes on after a five-year hiatus from TV and film.
Cyrus, star of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, rose to fame a few years after making her screen debut as a child actress in the sitcom Big Fish when she was ten. She starred in several highly anticipated films during her teenage years, including the gritty drama LOL and the beachy romance The Last Song, but for the past few years, she’s been focusing primarily on her music.
Aside from a few voice roles in the spinoff Big Mouth Human Resources and a few small cameos in recent films like Drive-Away Dolls, Cyrus hasn’t had a major role since her 2019 Black Mirror episode “Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too. ” .”
So what’s the problem with taking a break from acting?
“I would love to do it again. But the role would really have to be right because it’s kind of hard for people to see through me and relate to the character,” Cyrus said in an interview published June 3 in W Magazine. Cyrus went on to explain that she is becoming much more picky when it comes to the big screen.
“The character would have to be either an extension of myself or someone—or something—with a personality that can subdue mine. I’d need a character that’s bigger than me.”
Is someone with a more interesting personality than Cyrus? That’s a tall order indeed, but it makes sense, given that Cyrus’ celebrity status can often obscure her identity from moviegoers who may only see her as a Grammy-winning pop artist. Still, it looks like Cyrus won’t be appearing in any movies anytime soon.

NEW HULU PACK FROM DISNEY+ JUST IN TIME FOR BEAR SEASON 3
This is a really great deal.

JUNE 3, 2024
HULL
This month, Disney’s library is expanding even more than usual. The streamer and Hulu teamed up a few months ago to create a new package that gives members access to all of Hulu’s programming on Disney. The best part is that the bundle is significantly cheaper than buying two subscriptions, and with the long-awaited third season of The Bear premiering this month, it’s the perfect time to try it out.
Disney+ will release a number of Hulu titles available to stream in the new package in addition to all of its own original material, which will debut in June. It’s a really good deal, to be honest. The monthly cost of the basic Disney+ plus Hulu package is $9.99, which is just $2 more than the $7.99 for a standalone subscription. It also costs $7.99 for a standalone Hulu subscription. Basically, you’re now paying more than $16 a month for both Disney+ and Hulu; by purchasing this package you can save $6 per month without sacrificing any material.
And thanks to this partnership, June will bring a lot of new releases as well as popular classics to Disney+.
With a lineup that includes critically acclaimed films like Step Up, the recent series The Bear and The Kardashians, and the upcoming Star Wars action series The Acolyte, Disney+ will be your summer destination. This is the entire schedule of new TV series and movies for this month.
*Titles marked with an asterisk can only be purchased through a combination of Disney+ and Hulu.
