Barbara Corcoran, renowned entrepreneur, and Shark Tank star, recently took a playful approach in response to Martha Stewart’s steamy Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
The Shark Tank business guru posted on Instagram: “You’ve seen Martha Stewart, but have you seen me?”

After posting Martha Stewart’s sultry Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, the 74-year-old entrepreneur and Shark Tank contestant decided to try making her own.
In a recent photo posted on Instagram Thursday, Corcoran is seen wearing a white V-neck one-piece swimsuit under what appears to be an orange satin fabric draped as a makeshift scarf around her shoulders.
She beams at the camera while sitting cross-legged on a beach chair. Sitting in front of a window with a view of beautiful foliage and Manhattan skyscrapers.
The next image on the Corcoran carousel is a cover image of Stewart’s magazine, which features the lifestyle expert in a plunging swimsuit and a large gold jacket. He strikes a pose against a lush backdrop in the Dominican Republic.
“I can swim but I can’t cook. @marthastewart48 @si_swimsuit,” Corcoran captioned the images.
The craft expert was mentioned along with the statement, “You’ve seen Martha Stewart — but you’ve seen me,” on her Instagram story.
Stewart, who at 81 became the magazine’s oldest cover model, opened up about her role to PEOPLE. She described it as a “once in a lifetime” opportunity that may have come to fruition sooner.
She laughed as she noted: “It should have been 30 years ago. That would be fantastic. Even though I didn’t set it as a goal for myself, as soon as I was asked, I was like, ‘Let’s do it!’ “
“It’s important to take on challenges, whether they’re beauty challenges, intellectual challenges, or even philanthropic challenges,” she continued.
It’s a great pleasure for me to get out there and do that. And that is a contribution that not everyone would make.
Stewart prepared for the big day by sticking to her skincare and wellness routine, which includes Pilates, facials, and abstaining from alcohol. She even got a spray tan for the occasion.
She had to be open about wearing a bikini (and nothing else, because she wanted to show off her “good cleavage”).
The night before the shoot, “I tried on all the swimwear and clothes and there were so many things to try on,” she said. I had to grin and bear it as I was poked, pulled, and straightened which made it impossible to be modest.
As trends come and go, it’s refreshing to see celebrities embracing a sense of humor and camaraderie, reminding us that life is meant to be enjoyed and that it’s important to take risks, have fun, and celebrate our uniqueness. Through their playful interactions, Corcoran and Stewart demonstrate that age is no barrier to self-expression and that confidence knows no bounds.
