Beloved Daytime TV Personality Dies at 34 Years Old

Days of Our Lives actor Cody Longo has died at the young age of 34. After calling the police to check on the actor’s well-being at his Texas home, Long’s wife alerted them to his death. He was found dead in his bed in Austin, Texas after his wife applied for a Social Security check because her husband wasn’t answering any of their calls or text messages.

Stephanie Longo was worried about her star husband as she could not confirm his whereabouts or his health. She enlisted the help of the Austin police, who visited their home to check on the young actor, only to find that he had already passed away.

In 2011, Days of our Lives cast Long as Nicholas Alamain, a well-known character. Fans were shocked to learn that the 34-year-old had died after a long battle with alcoholism, despite his short time with the series.

Stephanie is employed at a nearby dance studio in Austin. When he stopped returning her calls and texts, she became very worried about his safety. She reported it to the police. They reached Austin’s house. Police knocked on the door and searched the house for Long after numerous attempts to get an answer from him were unsuccessful. He was found dead in his bed.

According to TMZ, a family member claimed that Longo had recently entered a recovery program after years of battling alcohol addiction. The official cause of death of the young actor has not yet been released.
