“This birthday is a little different than any other I’ve ever had,” said 87-year-old Judge Frank.
“I recently had a medical check-up because I wasn’t feeling well and the results weren’t favorable. As a result, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a tricky kind of disease.”
He went on to say that he is being treated by an “amazing team of doctors” at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a division of Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as in Rhode Island.
“I ask God to guide their hands and their thoughts as they treat me. He went on to say, “I know it’s a long road and I’m fully prepared to fight as hard as I can,” he urged his supporters. to pray for him.

I need the strength of prayer which I think along with the medical care I am receiving will best help me get through this.

Until his retirement in January 2023, Judge Frank presided over the Municipal Court in Providence, Rhode Island.
He retired after almost 40 years of service.
