Samuel discovered her financial trouble and offered a deal: he would completely pay off her seven hundred thousand dollar debt and give her an additional two million dollars in cash if she could convince Christopher to sell his controlling shares in the firm to a holding company controlled by Samuel.

Christopher had adamantly refused the proposal.

Two days later, the incriminating documents vanished from his home office, Thomas was removed from the private care facility without authorization, and Christopher suddenly disappeared.
