I am not asking anyone to stop trusting.
Trust is one of the best things human beings do; it is what lets us lean on each other when we cannot stand alone, and a grieving person needs to be able to lean, needs desperately to be able to hand some of the weight to someone who knows the way.
I would never take that from anyone.
What I am asking for is not less trust.
