There was one more piece of the reckoning, and it had happened, in a sense, before the trial even began.

Because the two-million-dollar transfer I had directed the detective to find was only the visible tip of a much larger pattern of embezzlement, and when I brought that evidence to Vance Global’s board of directors, the board I had spent the previous weeks quietly persuading, they voted unanimously to strip Julian of his title, his authority, and his controlling stake in the company.

Using the evidence of his crimes, my legal team executed a complete and lawful takeover of his shares.
