“When will they be here?” Alice asked for the third time, peering out the front window.
“Their flight lands at six-fifteen,” I reminded her, checking the flight tracker I’d installed.
“Then they need to get their luggage and drive home.
Probably around seven-thirty or eight.”
“Ugh.” Alice flopped dramatically onto the sofa.
“That’s forever from now.”
