“The hospital HR director signed the transfer papers,” Julie said, pulling a chair up to the small table.

“They have an intake position open in Cincinnati.”

“When does it start?” I asked.

“Next Monday,” she said.

“I told them you could begin training immediately.”

I opened my desk drawer and began sorting through the utility bills and tax documents.

“I can pack the kitchen tonight,” I said.

“I will help you,” Julie said.
