“I’ll keep it where I can see it.”

The worker brought them a puzzle.

They completed it together, talking about school and the things they’d missed.

When the visit ended, Ashley gripped his sleeve.

“Do I have to leave?”

“For today,” Andrew said.

“We’re going to keep working so you can be safe and we can spend more time together.”
