Franklin continued. “Crestline owns the tower where the marriage ceremony took place. It owns the development site where Mr. Mercer has been working. It holds the Belmont Maritime debt and manages commercial property in thirty-eight states.”

Amelia’s face lost all color. Franklin slid a document across the table. “Mr. Mercer’s personal holdings are managed through private trusts and limited partnerships.
