“We’re on the record in the matter of Vance versus Vance, case number twenty-four dash eight-nine,” Judge Norris said.

She adjusted her glasses again, looking over the top of them at Julian’s attorney.

“I have an emergency motion filed by the defense seeking immediate approval of a property division agreement,” Judge Norris said.

Julian stood up at his table, smoothing the front of his navy suit coat with both hands.

“That’s correct, Your Honor.”

“This motion indicates that Mrs.

Vance has agreed to waive all claims to the marital home and the contracting business,” Judge Norris said.
