“The summons requires a dollar-for-dollar offset against his remaining share of the liquid marital assets,” Rachel said.

“If his cash can’t cover it, his share of the equity in other assets will be garnished.”

“What happens to his Sunday five o’clock lockout deadline?” I asked.

“Tomorrow’s order will cancel his lock change and require him to leave the premises immediately,” Rachel said.

She handed me the black pen again.
