Don’t Let Your Mother Answer for You
I came home in February.
I lived in the house on Fenwick alone for eleven months and then I sold it, and I sent Jessi half of what it made, and it came back — a cashier’s check, returned by her attorney, with a two-line letter saying that his client declined the funds and would not be responding to further correspondence.
I read that as contempt.
It was not contempt.
