Don’t Let Your Mother Answer for You
The second one was written in the March after Leo was born, when he was eight months old.
She did not send it to Bellamy Street.
She had learned that lesson.
She sent it care of my unit, which is a thing you can do and which does work, and she paid for certified mail, and there is a signature on the receipt.
It was signed for on the ninth of March at a mail room in Kentucky by a specialist whose name I have and who has no memory of it whatsoever and who has done nothing wrong.
I never got it.
