They returned to Los Angeles, but the road back into the family was not a straight one, and Maria made sure of that.

Before she would allow Andrew anywhere near Noah, she set her conditions, and she set them firmly, from a hospital bed, to the man she had loved and waited for and grieved.

He would tell the investigators everything — the whole truth of the shell company, the men, the fraud, all of it, holding nothing back.

And he would agree to therapy, real and sustained, before he tried to become anyone’s father.
