I have that from the record, not from memory.
I remember the hallway of the apartment building.
I remember a man’s voice saying a number twice.
I remember being cold in a way that had nothing to do with temperature.
And I remember, very clearly and with no context at all, a woman saying, “Thea, I need you to look at me.”
