I teach it to residents.
Recording seventy-four is the fourteenth of October and it is eleven minutes long and my daughter falls asleep in it.
Not at bedtime.
At six-forty in the evening, mid-sentence, sitting up, while I am talking to her.
And on that recording you can hear my own voice saying — warmly, and with a laugh in it, because I was pleased to have had eleven minutes —
