“Nathan was assigned to the Bayview Port overhaul four years ago,” Lianna said.

“He reported serious mechanical problems with the heavy lifting equipment, over and over.

He told his superiors the replacements had been requested many times, but management kept delaying the orders because the project was already behind schedule.”

Corbin took the document and began to read.

“He sent that formal email eleven days before the site failure,” she added, her voice thickening.

The email was direct and unmistakable.
