She swept the lens slowly over all of it — the collar in Sabetha’s hand, the laughing faces, the champagne, her mother-in-law’s smile — and then she calmly lowered the phone, picked up the diaper bag from beside the window, and turned toward the doors.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Dane said, stepping into her path.
“Home.”
