Flynn did not ask me to trust him.

That, more than anything, was the first reason I did.

He did not make speeches, or promises, or ask me to explain myself while I was still shaking.

He simply handed me a clean towel from a compartment in the door, and instructed his driver to call his private physician, and gave me a moment to breathe.
