Nearly ten months after Leo died, the probate court issued a major ruling.

The questioned codicil was rejected.

The earlier will remained operative only as to property outside the trust.

The trust amendment was upheld.

The principal residence remained trust property.

I was confirmed as successor trustee subject to fiduciary obligations and continuing court oversight during administration.

Chloe retained certain undisputed personal property and benefits Leo had lawfully given her.

She did not receive everything.
