I opened the system control panel, selected the administrative tools tab, and clicked on the system restore option.

The screen showed three restore points saved automatically by the computer over the past two weeks.

I selected the restore point created four days earlier, before Daniel updated the security settings.

The screen went black for four minutes while the system rolled back the cached user files and temporary browser data.

When the desktop came back, a small yellow download notification popped up in the lower right corner of the screen.

I clicked it, which opened the local browser cache folder.
