I asked how a later change would be handled.

“Bring it through counsel and the proper process.

Don’t alter the arrangement because somebody asks in the parking lot.”

Marjorie gave me a sideways look.

“That belongs on the refrigerator.”

I almost smiled.

“Does this protect them?” I asked.
