Sometimes circumstances teach boundaries before courage catches up.

I am grateful for that.

But I refuse to tell the story as:

My parents tried to steal my honeymoon, so I destroyed them.

I did not destroy them.

My father made a financial decision serious enough to trigger legal consequences.

My mother published false statements and later corrected them.

My sister behaved terribly and lost a relationship partly because the man she intended to marry saw values he did not want to marry.
