Four days after my daughters were born, Julian stood before television cameras and told millions of people:

Years later, I finally knew what I would have said if someone had handed me the microphone immediately afterward.

Family is what you do when nobody is watching.

And at 8:15 that night, when I needed him and the cameras were downstairs, Julian showed me exactly who he was.
