She withdrew from the autumn 2024 semester on the fourth of November.

She had dropped two of her four classes in the middle of October and tried to carry the other two and could not do the reading, and the withdrawal deadline was the eighth, and we sat at the kitchen table on a Monday evening and she cried and I said the thing I actually believe, which is that a semester is four months and a brain is forty years.

It cost four hundred and ten dollars in non-refundable fees and it put her graduation back a full year, because the statistics course she dropped is a prerequisite and it only runs in the autumn.

She finishes in the May of 2027.
