Part Forty-Four: She Asked

In the October of 2025, through Wendell Baptiste’s office, Patricia asked whether Daniela would meet her.

The no-contact condition was in force.

It is in place for the protection of the victim and the victim can waive it, and the mechanism is that she tells the probation officer and it is noted.

Daniela took three weeks.

And in those three weeks she did two things that I did not know about until afterward and that I have thought about ever since.
