Nobody Was Present
I did not take it well.
I want that in.
Between the March and about the following July I was not a person it was pleasant to be around, and the reason is that I had got the whole thing upside down in my head and nobody could right it for me.
I had been collecting for seven months.
Clips, journals, carrier logs, prehospital reports.
I had a hard drive and three paper folders and a legal pad.
And I had been doing all of it under an assumption I had never once said out loud, which was that if I collected enough, the law would eventually arrive at the right size.
