By sunrise, Daniel had called his legal team twelve times. He arrived at the firm before six in the same clothes from the night before. His senior attorney, Marcus Hale, had already pulled the settlement documents.
Daniel paced behind the conference table. “She concealed the value.”
Marcus kept reading. “Did she receive an offer before signing?”
“I don’t know.”
“Did she have an appraisal?”
