Part Thirty: The Application

Noreen Schatzberg filed two pages at the Oakhaven County Probate Court on the ninth of December and it cost ninety-four dollars.

It is not dramatic.

It does not accuse anybody of anything.

It is an application asking the court to direct that safety deposit box 214 at First State Bank be opened and inventoried in the presence of all interested parties and their counsel.

That is a thing you may ask for.
