Pointing Out the Wind
I did not push it.
I only stopped being the one wall still holding it up, stopped spending my own silence to postpone a collapse that was never mine to prevent and never my responsibility to delay.
There is a particular kind of person, I have come to understand, who commits the wrong and then, when it is exposed, blames the one who exposed it, who builds a house of cards and rages at the person who pointed out the wind.
Do not accept that blame.
