I eased myself up a little, wincing, but keeping Kirk safe against me. The time for hiding was finished.
“Raymond doesn’t have a buyer, Dad,” I said clearly.
Reginald’s head snapped toward me, his eyes wide with fear. “Florence, be quiet,” he warned weakly. “You don’t understand business.”
“I understand all of it,” I said evenly. “Raymond needs my twelve percent because he pulled forty million dollars out of the company accounts for himself, and now that money is gone.”
Barbara gasped and moved toward me. “That’s a lie! Raymond is brilliant! He’s saving this company!”
“Raymond is a thief,” I said, meeting my mother’s eyes. “He stole it. I warned you and Dad two years ago. I showed you the falsified bank statements. I showed you the hidden accounts.
