My hands closed into fists at my sides.

Voss smiled, thin and tired, as the agents pulled him on.

“I know everything about her,” he said.

“Ask her sometime what happened to her wingman.”

And then he was gone, down the stairs into the rain and the blue lights, and I was left standing in the galley with a name I hadn’t spoken aloud in a year and a half ringing in my ears.
