“The county approved the full eighteen hundred dollars a month for daycare,” Paige said.

“Maddie started her afternoon art class at the community center today, and Ben is in the toddler room right next door.”

“Did Heather sound relieved?” I asked.

“She sounded like someone who finally got her life back on track,” Paige said.
