Statute of limitations.

In New York the general limitation period for a felony is five years from the commission of the offence.

The document was executed and delivered in the April and May of that first year.

I found out in the September six years later.

Six years and four months.

Peter Nadeau explained it to me in a conference room and I did not accept it and made him go and get a second opinion, and he did, from a former prosecutor, who came in and explained it again for two hours and charged me nine thousand dollars to tell me the same thing.

There are tolling provisions.
