Terminal Four
Evelyn never got a name, and could not describe her beyond an approximate age and the fact that she was wearing a lanyard with something clipped to it.
I wanted to find her.
I wanted to do something enormous.
I wrote to the airline.
I wrote three times.
I was answered politely twice by a customer care team and I have kept both letters, and the second one contains the sentence we are glad our colleague was able to assist.
I offered, in writing, to fund something.
I do not want to describe the amount because it is embarrassing and because the amount is the point.
